Mary Anne Mitchell has been photographing her vision of the world for over 20 years. In traveling, during day-to-day activities, as well as while working as an artist on projects and assignments, she usually has her camera within easy reach. As Cartier Bresson, one of her creative influences once put it, “To take a photograph is to align the head, the eye, and the heart. It is a way of life.” Working primarily in b/w, she still shoots film and prints the silver gelatin prints.
