The wood's grain reveals similar rhythms and flow of energy. And it's relationship with my painting has grown deeper and deeper.

The intrinsic appeal of my paintings are the rhythms and flow of energy graphically expressed with the poetic lines of calligraphy. This life energy is similar in all of us and these compositions will resonate with you on a conscious and subconscious level. This is further enhanced by the visual transparency of the paint. To see, hear, feel beneath the surface, allows you to bond with the subject with increasing intensity.

You will be equally intrigued by the way they reach out and compel you to engage in an intimate dialog. And in this conversation, through this language of poetic line, a relationship will develop. Revealing newly discovered imagery and emotions, that will draw you back again and again... as fresh, and as deep as you’re willing to go.

Pablo Picasso believed that his paintings must awaken something, even in the man who doesn't ordinarily look at pictures. In each painting, he wanted to provide something for every level of thinking.
