My studio is in Bakersfield, California and it's one of the first things you see upon entering my home. I live in an attractive, Southwest style home that's big on roses, crawling greens, and cacti of all types and descriptions. We have a large, wildbird population that features all manners of doves, sparrows, bluejays, and hummingbirds and it is from them, that I commune with nature and find inspiration; however, it is my son, Brian, who has "domesticated them"...
