Rebecca working in friend's studio I work at another artist's studio once a week. We often just work together and sometimes do collaborative work. Here I am starting a small acrylic painting. I work in many thin layers of washes and often have texture on my paintings, either acrylic medium or sometimes other materials. It's always applied before any paint goes on.

Rebecca painting at AJ's Working on the same painting at AJ's studio. This is part of a series based on the geometric shape called the Vesica Piscis. It is the almond shape (Mandorla) made when two circles overlap. I've been using this shape in my art since last year. It's often seen in religious art and in mathematics in the form of Venn Diagrams.
